I fell in love with photography in High School. I was in a film photography class and we got to develop and print our own photos. My teacher used to slip me extra sheets of photo paper to use, it was an unforgettable and fun experience! In 2008 I got my first DSLR camera and began my journey of writing with light. I love to use film because it captures more than a moment, it captures energy. Film is made of silver halide crystals, these crystals when exposed to light capture the reflection of an image through light. Crystals vibrate and can be programed with energy. This is why nothing compares to a film movie or photograph.
